Hi Michal, My name is Randal Robins and I work for Eaton Fine Art, Inc., a fine art consulting firm based in Austin, TX that specializes in artwork for four- and five-star hotels worldwide. I came across your website while searching for art online, and your artwork is beautiful. I’d love to work with you on one of our current projects. I really love your paintings … I especially am intrigued the pieces that I am attaching to this email. Do you have additional images of your work not appearing on your website? If so, I’d love to see them! We would like to show images of your work to our clients for review, and would like your permission to do so. Our projects are both nationwide and international, with current projects including four- and five-star hotels and resorts as well as assisted-living communities from Canada to the Caribbean and from Florida to southern California. Previous projects include the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, W South Beach Miami, and St. Regis Princeville Kauai to name a few. At this stage, we are looking for artwork for a set of public spaces in a hotel, in San Francisco, which involves reproductions. If your work is selected, and once the project moves forward, we would pay a usage fee—usually $250 per a single print—for the right for Eaton Fine Art to publish fine art giclées of the work specifically and ONLY for this one project. This is only with your agreement, and with EFA providing you with a written contract that states that the artist always retains copyrights, and includes the exact number of prints published for the project. We would NOT be creating an “open edition‚” or a publication of your work that is available to the public, such as a high-volume run of poster prints. We are working towards a short deadline for our presentation to the client, so a quick response would be much appreciated.
